The bets made by this man became very famous in the sixties, he was crazy to many people and a big strategic bettor to others. We are talking about Harold Smith who bet a whole casino in one single roulette wheel spin.

It seems that this bettor inherited his madness about the game from his father. In the year 1930, he operated roulette games along the Californian coast. But then, his family was arrested. They managed to escape to Nevada and they founded a new casino there. According to Harold, the success of any game lies in the player’s mood when he sits down at the game table.

We have written and read a lot about some basic rules for the roulette but they are not rules of the game itself, rather they are more personal to take into account in case we lose. We should not leave sadly or get depressed or angry. One of these individual rules is to always go thinking we will lose, so if we win we would leave more happily.

Now we are going to say exactly the opposite. Many people believe that the idea of thinking we will lose eventually happens.

Based on the assumption that some roulettes may have a physical defect and that there is no perfect roulette, we just have to analyze the wining numbers in thousands rounds to be able to identify which numbers come out the most and bet on them.

After studying 5,000 games, the numbers were studied. In order to know if such deviation is pure chance or a bias of the roulette itself, we have to compare the values with two limits. The first one covers more than 95% of the cases due to a random simulation per computer, while the second limit covers the 99.5% of the simulations.
